Hiya guys,
Sorry pollypocket36, but what makes you think that this would be a good thing? As TopBunk says, it will more or less be the same contract that EF LGW have at the moment - which everyone knows is one of the worst going. Please don't be tempted into this thinking that it will be a short-cut to get to WW, because I'm pretty sure that when all is revealed it will transpire that if anyone were to move there from another base etc. it will take a long time to get back - if ever. The company have said that they want it to be a low-cost (admittedly, not the conventional type of low-cost airline) fleet with no Cabin Service Directors in-charge only Pursers; fewer crew etc.
Also, thinking ahead to the future - if this thing does go through (which I sincerely hope it doesn't, and that BASSA fights it tooth and nail) and it is a success, what is to stop the company moving routes from WW LHR and ploughing into LGW? MAJOR worry for the future of WW routes at LHR if that were to be the case - and to the detriment of all Cabin Crew on, or wanting to go onto, WW LHR in the future.
