SAA has a fine reputation in the industry as an airline who will look after their cockpit crew, and all new recruits are subjected to really good training.
So many yungsters want to be Board Commanders, and if they can start as First Officers with a good airline like SAA on lowish time,why not?
I can assure you that they will be trained well by Johnny, Scully & the other Chiefs, and in due course become good pilots.
If my son Alfred only wanted to listen to me.........
