The arch is now in its final position. It is only advertising Duty Frees at the airport. It is obvious that it is being paid for by BAA. So much for advertisers paying for it freely. The thing is a monstrosity and is causing traffic chaos. A complete waste of money. A much better use of that sort of money would have been to put in more carry-on baggage secreening machines so that the horrendous queues could be cut. But thinking about it since when has BAA cared about customers and queueing standards?
