I did my first solo aero's last Thursday. It's the best "good feeling" I've had from flying so far.
I started with a morning session with my instructor, then after having some lunch, I got sent up all on me'tod. What a strange strange feeling it was. The odd thought of "if this all goes wrong, I have to sort it out (or jump out)" because you can't throw the stick at anyone and say "help"
Anyway, even with all that, I was still happy to be doing it. As I pushed the nose down to get a bit of speed, I pulled level and thought "this is it"..... and over we went in a 1/2 cuban, into a stall turn, pulled a loop, wing over?, then a slow roll. Sorted.
I did it another three times before deciding to go back down
Friday, I did my first competition as a beginner.
Glad you enjoyed it, but be warned........ it's very addictive !!!
