Buster, I flew EAQ on Friday last week. I think it's due to go in the first week of October. The A330 and extra 738s have been replacing the 'lost' capacity of the 762s. Rumours abound that John Travolta may be interested in upgrading from the 707 to an ex QF 762.

From what I read a while back, AO aren't interested in any more 763s in the short to medium term (mid next year). Of course, that can change in a blink of an eye and stranger things have happened. I reckon we're still a bit short of capacity- especially considering the airline keeps talking about 'expanding' but perhaps they see that growth occurring without any dramas due to the incoming A330s, 738s, A380s, J* A320s, etc.
