You can access airside without a permanent pass from the airport operator. You can do this providing you meet all of the following conditions:
1, you are operating in flight
2, you have a valid passport, if a pilot, then also your pilot's licence
3, your name appears in the crew manifest list
4, the captain or the purser vouches for you
On the other ground if you cannot get a pass is because you may have something on your disclosure cert.
