Prior to the Liberal Govt. and Peter Reith removing Awards, TAA and Ansett were covered by the Domestic Award. It had a Regional International flying clause, 14 hour international duties etc., to cover Cocos Island, Christmas Island and N.Z. flying. The regional clause in the last EBA is nothing new to crew who have been around for a while. Qantas management decide who and what goes where, (they do own the a/c) and people are getting sucked in by QF management doing the old divide and conquer.
