I agree with Galleyhag..
My understanding of the regional flying clause was that we would be doing SOME regional international flying in conjunction with Long Haul. We were even told that Shorthaul may operate the aircraft into Hong Kong and Longhaul take it out for example. So we would be sharing the flying.
At no time were we ever aware that we would be allocated ALL this Asia flying. Having said that, im not the slightest bit interested in doing it anyway.
A further point.. I have carried entire paxing Longhaul crews a couple of times over the last week, and they have been nothing but lovely to us. I dont know where this idea that Longhaul crews are sledging us to our face idea is coming from, I certainly havent heard it from any other shorthaul crews either.
And finally..your shorthaul colleagues have no control over how the company manipulates this clause. Shorthaul has the upmost of respect for its Longhaul colleagues and we are certainly not going out of our way to make your lives difficult
