Yep, and being a Cuban who made it illegally to U.S. soil, she's awarded with a coveted green card under current U.S. policy:

Ironically, the U.S. citizen who pulled a similar stunt from JFK to DFW got four months home incarceration and a $1500 fine for his efforts.
