And what another beautiful example of the effectiveness of the INS or CBP or whatever they call the collective of twenty seven different agencies supposedly guarding the borders of the US.

I live in a town on the US - Canadian border, if there is any trouble with anyone breaking the law - like drug smuggling - they call the local city police to cart the suspects off to jail, surely CBP have powers of arrest ? The article didn't say whether the woman was a documented or non-documented immigrant or US citizen, but surely stowing away is illegal ????

Which government official was it who went on record yesterday as saying "we're looking at aviation security not only from a security defence point of view but also as a way to intercept potential terrorists as they travel around" ? Jeeze..... wow how I feel safe in the hands of the Federal government, whom as 747FOCAL says, will follow the usual knee-jerk, shoot-from-the-hip, politically correct and ineffective but none-the-less annoying measures to prevent this.

It's good to sound off once in a while.
