Instructing on different helicopter types

I'm a rotary FI(R), instructing part time on the R22. I had an R44 rating, but it lapsed a little over a year ago. The school I work for would like me to renew it, as they have a lot of students wanting to fly the R44. I could do this with around a couple of hours flying, and I could do with the extra work. The trouble is, I think I read in LASORS that you need 15 hours within the last 12 months on any type in order to instruct on it. But I now can't find that bit in LASORS, and no-one at the school seems to know anything about it. Does anyone know? And if you do, does it apply to the R22 and R44, which are so similar that 15 hours seems really over the top...to say nothing of the fact that I can't afford to pay for them. Anyone got any ideas?
