There are no problems with your girlfriend living here.If she gets sponsorship ie.gets a job or your company sponsors her then she can stay in the country indefinately.
I don't work and my partners company doesnt sponsor me as we are not married so i have to renew my tourist visa every 3 months. We usually do this by taking a quick break over in Dubai, Doha, Muscat etc...
