Qantas reports soaring profit

Australia's flagship carrier Qantas Airways believes it can improve on its 2003/04 results in the current financial year after reporting an 89 per cent jump in full year net profit.
Qantas reported net earnings of $648.4 million for 2003/04, up $304.9 million from $343.5 million in the previous year.
