un-wanted/un-welcome (by most Japanese) guests

That probably sums it up fairly well, verticleroll. For the Japanese pilots, we are keeping the increased flying load off them, allowing them to remain on their 45-55 hours per month flight time.
As the retirements increase, the Jap airlines are going to have to either increase the numbers of gaijin pilots, or increase the hours the Japanese pilots fly
(I'm not sure which of those choices is the more repulsive to them!).
Until only 12 months ago, or thereabouts, the Japanese pilots in this company flew a MAXIMUM of only 3 sectors per day. Some patterns have now been introduced with 4 sectors, although the Tech Logs still only have provision for 3.
I'm sure the lads up there aren't too appreciative of you telling the entire world their business.
Is there some problem with that, Roadrunner?
Isn't that what PPRuNe is about?
Pilots helping other pilots, by making as much info as possible - good and bad - available for ALL.

If there are any undesirable aspects in some of the contracts, the only ones I imagine might have their noses put out of joint by highlighting them, would be the contracting agencies.
