Piratair selection used to be through Parc Aviation DUB. A full day talking to a shrink, reviewing your CV, answering questions and so on and finally a 737 sim session. Nothing unusual. If successful, you were invited for further interviews in GVA with the Chief Pilot and a Captain in charge of Pilot selection. The whole process from application to final contract offer could last several months or even years depending on their needs. Not sure of the actual process now. They went through a lot of changes in the past years.
I don't want to comment on the company, I want to remain politically correct, all I can say is that the current "Chief Pilot", former CX Capt. is a real pain in the neck. Good luck.
