Please let me interrupt for second and then you guys can get back to spanking yourselves silly over whatever airline you work for.

The fact of the matter is that most GA pilots will take whatever turbine job they are offered first, that’s what I did and I’m having fun.
In saying that I have started to notice a certain reluctance among some pilots to work for Eagle, to the point where some GA pilots are not even applying for Eagle.

Is there any truth to the rumour that a senior Eagle Manger walked into a ground school and said “You are the best of a bad lot” if so then I would not want to work for a company that welcomed it’s pilots to the company in that fashion. Not very polite if you ask me. Perhaps that is why he can only get “bad” pilots applying to his airline? Maybe they have heard rumours like this?

While we are on the Eagle topic, what is with certain Eagle pilots being the self designated “Airport police” and using “smart” remarks on the radio at unattended airports around the country? How about a little professionalism from you big professional turbine drivers.
I have been out of GA for a few years now and surprisingly enough have never had a smart remark directed at me from an Eagle aircraft, however it was a semi regular occurrence for me and my workmates when we were flying light aircraft.
Isn’t that what the schoolyard bully does? The bully takes the Mickey or picks on the little guy to inflate his own ego in front of others. I feel sorry for these people, obviously they do not have enough to do in their own aircraft so they have to watch and critique others, whatever happened to minding your own business? How about a little manners chaps? Please?
If you have a serious concern about operation of another aircraft then there are proper channels to use, please use them if you feel so strongly, or is it perhaps only you that has the problem……
Would you have the same smart remark to make to a jet on approach to AA/WN/CH?
And as for senior Eagle captains ringing GA pilots up after hours to reprimand them for the way they operate their aircraft and threatening them with damage to their career. Shame on you. You Bully. You know who you are. Shame. What are you thinking?

As for recruiting methods Eagle has theirs and other airlines have their own, each airline uses what works for them. It’s their sandpit and Tonka toys, get over it. If you don’t like the sound of it then don’t apply or withdraw your application.
The industry is moving at the moment so if you are a lucky person you will be able to pick and choose to a certain degree. Pick the airline that you want to fly for, research the process, do the study and get in there. Go hard, good luck, sell yourself.

Take it easy people it’s just a job, what gets done on the weekends is what counts.

I’m of fishing Please continue whacking off in my absence.

Peace
