Just a heads up for those with their hat in the ring with Air NZ.
It seems that a few prospects have been rung by someone at Air NZ and asked a few interview questions re themselves. (strengths/weaknesses etc..)
So those of you close to the top of the pile (as if you'd know that..) have a few answers ready...

Sup my fellow pito tubes, eagle aero club ant that bad after I got my start I got a call from this guy who said he used to be the fleet capt and since the pay is real stink he got me a second job down at Menzies Aviation checking suit cases for lap tops and Ped's and when I found any to hand them into him and I'd get $50 he told me it's alll about being in the"loop"
Hey Tump I used to play "ice''and "mave" in that broken down metro in Hn too!! (watch out I got a bit excited one day going inverted! is the Stain still there?)
eagle is toice place to work and the best part is that there are heaps of special capt and co's just like meeeeee

Very happy to see some good progression in the NZ industry at last.
NZ is more than able to lower min requirements into the 3rd level airlines as finally the massive surplus of highly skilled and qualified pilots (sought around the world) is drying up.
Look at Europe with its massive expansion, quite normal to put very low time drivers in the right seat of a B737/A320.
Let the good times roll (at last).
