Getting one over on Michael O’Leary – free food and drink on Ryanair
Oh boy ! I’ve waited some time for retribution for being turned away in the very early days of the Ryanair photo-id only policy. But this evening it’s happened. Free food and drink on FR !!
In truth the FA seemed new, the flight was full, the sector was only about an hour. But my fare is £218 return, bought yesterday, not the sort of price Ryanair’s media image portrays, especially for short hops. And after serving me a hot ciabatta and a beer, and some uncertainty about the pricing, and with me with the exact money in my hand, the crew just moved on, seemingly a bit muddled about things. So it was all on Ryanair, £6.30 worth. Wow !
