Try going into a hangar, find a spare piece of window perspex about 6 inches by 3, blunt off the edges and scrape the ice off with that (not the windscreen obviously!). Putting water on the wings doesn't seem to work too well early in the morning, you get to wiping the water off and it's frozen again!!! (funny to watch the students though for half an hour or so before they work that out
