The CVs were filed as I do all CVs. I replied as I do all CVs (as long as an email is added to the CV - I don't have time to post replies).
What I should have done/do is take them to task but I haven't the heart.
As for the 2000 hour guy. He was told that his services for free were not required. I made the mistake of losing my temper. I hope it changes that person's attitude but I doubt it.
The blank faced justification was that twin time was required for a future airline application.....and that ladies and gentlemen is why it will be so hard to get unity in aviation.
To make things harder for local Pilots, I have noticed an increasing number of Kiwi applicants.
Due to the NZ Govt. free funding of CPL training, there is a huge oversupply of junior pilots there.
With the trans-tasman licence agreement, Australia is a very attractive lure for Kiwi newbie CPLs.
I don't want to Kiwi bash as I have heaps of Kiwi buddies but I will not hire a foriegner over a local.
