And it's all true, but talking to a controller with a radar is very nice too. Even monitoring a 'radar frequency' has been useful to me in the past, I have recognised myself when I've been 'called out' to other traffic that I haven't seen.
Anybody tried the products referred to in
TPAS vs. ATD? Only works for transponder using traffic, but any help you can get......
