If there is any surplus in the companies, they are about to decide that as we speak.
As far as I know, the company (SASBraathens) will try to use the extra crews to expand rather than laying them off.

There are more factors than CoS to determine the amount of crew needed. Route structure,crew rostering systems, etc.
I think it is wrong to throw torches in this forum to see how the affected parties react when the information still is lacking.
