It has been decided by the new SAS Braathens management that the CoS to be used within the newly merged company will be the latest SAS CoS, as these are the most effecient. This will obviously create a further surplus of pilots within Braathens (on top of the one already there!) and this surplus is to be taken care of before the new SAS Braathens will see the light of day. Basically this means that Braathens will have to lay of an until further unknown amount of pilots. But looking at the BU operation, number of A/C vs Pilots, then it is most likely gonna hurt quite a bit there. Sorry for them lads. But it also hurt when it happend at SAS.
