No, I have a feeling that it may be CWS. The latest batch though, can be extremely difficult to clean up. The easy one just dumps a super-hidden file in the sys folder. Then when you can identify it, it won't let you delete it without mucking about with permissions etc.
The latest hides the complete Windows key, so that you have to import a new one over the top. All good fun. It usually shows up as an about
:blank page hijack first.. hence wanting to know what the page was.
If they're running W9x or ME, we've got a relatively straight forward fix sorted out (for the moment), but if you see anyone here with this on 2K or XP, then it's not worth even attempting a fix here. Send them to Techguy, ComputerCops or TechSupportForum and we'll see what we can do. Still not many guarantees though.
