I sincerely hope that opinions expressed in any forum (including this one) are actually listened to and considered. Those opinions are not the only ones around and the final decision rests elsewhere. Certainly try to inflence policy etc but in the end we have to accept the "umpires decision", even if we think it wrong in some cases.

There are lots of experts here, or so they would like to think, there are also a considerable number of manure purveyors as well.

But that's our society for you.
