No real advice on the schools here, just make sure you go to a school that can get you a J1 visa. You are not allowed to work on an M1 no matter what the promises.
Make clear that if you can not get hired at the school where you train, you will be seeking employment elsewhere. Get in writing from them that they will not cancel your visa as a result of you moving.
Personally I think Flight safety is a little too expensive, a lot of cheaper schools around,less well known but cheaper.
Have you done a search on Ari-Ben on this forum?
Be aware for "cheap" multi time, some of these operators will put two pilots in one plane and have both log the time.
Semi legal under the FAA system but the time will not be appreciated by all other Aviation administrations.
