Hi there

Conditions are pretty much what you make it. Bad? I'd say not.

This job can be a lot of fun. However if you have a big family and expect to spend every weekend with them back in your home country, say in Sweden then this is not for you.
But if you enjoy flying around the globe going to places that one has never heard of beofe, you might have good time.
Some guys absolutely hate the job, obviously I like it here as do most of the people.
The variety of cultures and different nationalities (55 last Hajj I was told) is another nice thing. Most I've ever flown has been 15 different nationalities in one crew.

Salary for Captain during the first year is 250 USD a day and 100 USD per hour overtime after 75 hours.

You can expect to fly 75 hours a month based on a 900 hour early max. Meaning that some months you get overtime and some months you do not.

Staff travel, well not as in IATA carrier we hae no ID ticketing system in place, But you can ride on our aircraft of the network that spas the whole globe. All continents covered.

As far as I know company is still looking people for the -400 to be based in MAD.
