Thankyou for your common responses, on the whole LAME's do an excellent job, work hard and endeavour to complete maintainance diligently.

I write this due to experiences through being in aviation and working hard to achieve the position l am in.

And mummy and Daddy are wonderful people and never supported me financially because l am a big boy now! They are on holidays at the moment, left there mansion for a few weeks to travel to the South of France for a bit of food, wine and culture!

Just bent over to pick up the toilet paper feels quite good brus maybe you mob should try it one day, bet you dream and talk about going 5th. base, l know l do!

I stress that pilots can be highly at fault in many incidents.
Such occurences l can recall overtime in the Top End are:

Loose skins- aircraft out of 100 hourly, ramp checked 2 days later, written up for loose skins top wing. missing screws, severe corrosion.

Sticky Throttle- Wriiten in MR, checked by LAME told may have frayed cable wait till next 100 hourly will check it then. Result 5 hours later land on idle try to taxi off runway, throttle jammed in idle, conclusion problem in carby not cable.

Radio- Crackling intermittent radio, Headset checked all clear, told needs new radio owner doesn't want to fix told what is the stress you have two.

Brakes- Master cylinder has to be taken out and checked , will do it at a later date.... still waiting.

Oil- Rubbish of empty oil bottles is because the planes use so much oil, planes have to carry a box for a day and are told it is exceptable.

Most of the incidents have occured with the same company in Dn, however most other LAME'S dealt with in the past are excellent and understand us geek pilots.

Maybe people are to busy, too much work not enough time or financial interests lay in each others pockets!

Hard for authorities to find out the crooks though, usually have to wait for hard evidence after a major incident.

Anyway better go happy days flying and repairing, we continue as we always have and try to pusue our professional hobby!
