Flying virgin LGW-ANU (Antigua- econonmy) next month and I think aircraft on that haul is 747 (400). Never been on 747 can anyone advise seating arrangement ie 2x3x2 etc, also is there any seats in economy worth trying to go for ie exit etc re comfort (6ft 3in
) and whats the best way of getting them. Of course could always upgrade I hear you say but I think £800 for two persons just to upgrade premium economy is a bit steep, matter of view I guess and I'm sure if did upgrade one would never like to go back to economy. In the good old days would do a nice letter to captain show my little bit of paper and spend some time up the sharp end...but alass
