Isn't Newcastle part of Northern Syndey now?
A heli pad can only enhance the availability of helicopter transport in the area. Maybe Newcastle isn't "a thriving hub of helicopter activity" but wouldn't a purpose built heli pad attract those wishing to commute from the Hunter Valley into Sydney?
