Sorry Belly Tank, I don't mean to offend. But it's not like Newcastle is a thriving hub of helicopter activity. Westpac won't land there, CHC won't land there, maybe Marine (or whoever is doing the marine pilot transfers) is going to use it, but apart from that, who else is going to? There is already another helipad in town (Carrington) and one at the hospital?
p.s I don't see what good it's doing the industry, regardless of how long its taken Newcastle's troglodyte council to approve it.
