Naff all to see except the slagheaps of what used to be our coal industry, nasty cheaply built badly planned towns, dreadful flat "countryside" which should really be the bed of the North Sea. Trip enlivened by big fields of daffodils and the tented accomodation of the poor imigrants forced to pick the flowers.
