We'd better get a few more Sandown votes coming in or it looks like we'll be off to the place where step ladders are required in the urinals.
I popped into Sandown on Friday afternoon (cos work was getting tedious) and I was given £1 change from £20 for a landing fee!
Fortunately the chap was understanding when I protested and paid up the rest!!
There was a PA38 having a few prob's with landing in the X-wind. Four missed approaches poor chap. It was about 12 kt and right across the runway. I left while he was still trying. Who knows, he might still be trying now......
