Yes, the CFI of the organisation you mentioned does set high standards.
Like the time he took a big heavy twin around an aircraft ahead of him on the taxiway. The aircraft in front was turning left and our CFI knowingly went left and around him, with little clearance and no comms. The guy in front had to break heavily to avoid creating a short wing twin.
