You are definately not too old. Especially if you have $$$ behind you.
But how much do you want to sit out in the hot sun in a place you don't want to be, driving a 30 year old machine for next to nothing, being treated badly... when you could be sitting in Air Con comfort in a place you do want to be, earning enough, with real career progression??
I would definately think about Law first and use the money from that to fuel you Aviation passion. This industry may look like roses to the outsider...but don't expect to be treated like a professional if you go down this path.
Although, maybe it's a great idea- you could probably work for some dodgy operators and then screw them over with some of your Lawyer friends. It might be fun!!
