The A45 joins the A46 just East of the airport. At the roundabout take the first exit onto a mini-roundabout. Take the second exit onto Rowley Road, which runs almost parallel to the runway. Follow the road for about 3/4 mile to another mini-roundabout. Turn left & follow the road through Baginton. As you exit the village you'll pass The Oak on your left. Just after that is the main entrance to the airport, also on your left. Stop at security & tell them you're going to the GA Terminal, Anson House. Find somewhere to park, then go and get a free parking ticket for one hour. The GA Terminal entrance is the double set of double automatic doors in the centre of the building. If you go to the right and end up in AWA Flying Group, have a cup of tea before you come through!
It's likely to be fairly obvious who the PPRuNers are. We're loud, probably shouting strange names at strange people, and all wearing big watches. There will probably be several flying jackets, a couple of grow-bags, and possibly a t-shirt reading "Remove before flight".
ALSO:
1) Has anyone told them we're coming?
2) Remember to bring your HV jacket for the apron & some form of photo ID!
