I usually think (I seldom cry) CRM when someone's attitude makes working as a team disagreable and ultimately difficult.
I'm not surprised. CRM is one concept taught with different emphasis to pilots and FAs. For pilots, CRM (originally
Cockpit
RM but now
Crew) is mainly centred on how to how to solve problems, in the extreme to prevent or minimise disaster with the obvious case example being UA232 in Sioux City back in '89.
CRM gradually expanded to include the F/Es, Navs, loadmonsters, even FAs and ground crew and from the FA POV is more concerned with team skills optimised toward getting the job done as well as handling cabin contingencies.

411A is reviled because he normall tells it like it is and people don't want to hear it. He doesn't sugar-coat it and, rather than pulling his punches, he puts his back into it .
