I think this forum is for people to get info, not jobs.
From what I have heard, DHL in Bahrain are an excellent bunch to work with and really look after their guys well. But, I wouldn't ask a potential employer what I would be making until I had been offered a job. But I can ask here without offending anyone (well almost anyone).
There are a lot of factors to consider if you're going to move to a different country and start at the bottom again, and one of them is will it be worth it in the long run? In 5-6 years time will it have been worth giving up what I have now? Because I don't aspire to neccesarily fly the big iron, I want to know if it's the type of gig one could stay at indefinately - hence the upgrade question; obviously you make more in the left seat.
People discuss how much CX pays on Pprune, and how fast upgrades are and so forth so why can't we discuss what DHL pays or how fast people move up? I'm not looking to leapfrog in and outta there. I'm looking for a good spot I can go to and stay at, do my job well, and slowly but surely pay off all my debts and get some financial security which I have never had.
And by the way, there is nothing wrong with being a parking lot attendant. The idea is to then try to be the BEST parking lot attendant there is.
