It's good to see a post from somebody that is happy in their job and that is not slagging off their empoyer.
For your interest though I'd like to let you know the following. I recently flew with EK to MLE via DXB. I chose to travel with EK due to the reputation you have and the amount of awards you have won. I have to say I was very disapointed. The crew on all four sectors were pleasant enough but seemed totally disorganised at times. It was almost 2 hours before we were given anything to drink, the entire drinks and meal service took forever and didn't appear to flow. I could understand this happening on one sector but it was similar on all sectors. Maybe I was expecting too much but they didn't come up to my expectations. On a more positive note though I found the staff at DXB to be very friendly and efficient.
The leg room on the 777 is very good but a little cramped on the A330.
