The QRH I’m looking at still says fire the second bottle after 30 seconds. No change there. Of course other operators may have a different SOP. Hope that helps.
Yes, but here is a reason for that move away from memory items, and this also comes with new criteria. I think Boeing is well aware of those criteria, they have written the books themselves. Again: the wording is "as soon as practical"
BTW: talking about second bottles... I think there is a lot more safety in how that NNC ends: "plan to land at the nearest suitable airport" which is I think/hope what we all would want to do.
