I think 100hr is only required if you're receiving instruction. If you're hiring then it is not required, so the aircraft can go beyond the 100hr check. (Something along those lines, I seem to have mislaid my FAR/AIM)....

PS I'd go for an all singing, all dancing new aircraft. $100 per hour will get a C172SP, 180HP fuel injected, GPS equipped, leather seats etc etc....Thats £40-£50/hr less that I'd pay for a 70's Warrior in the UK....
