Apart from the Frenchies and the Americans, there are a few NATO navies with decent SSK capabilities. I worked closely with one recently who had blue water Atlantic capability as a core requirement for their new class of SSK.
If the US are serious about UK carriers replacing theirs in the Atlantic, perhaps they will agree to support such deployments with surface and subsurface escorts?
