Not sure how to explain my question in a manner that can be understood, but here goes.
I am running W11, and use Firefox for browsing. Recently, when I open a web page, there are a couple of flashes as if the page is showing settings and then they disappear before the page is open; this happens so quick that I cannot see what is very briefly shown. Virtually all the time everything works fine, however there are occasions when I need to click on something or complete a question, and the displayed page is shaded, and I cannot proceed to carry out the required task. I have tried using MS Edge, and have no such problems, causing me to try the task first on Firefox, and then resorting to using Edge.
I have not changed any settings lately, but wonder if a setting has been changed when W11 updated itself recently.
Hope that someone can decipher the above!

gehenna! Using exactly the same OS and browser (both current) I have precisely the same inexplicable phenomenon. The "flashing boxes" appear and disappear in a fraction of a second. This only occurs shortly after an elective system reboot. Let's hope someone here knows whats happening.
