I believe that the hearts of about 75% of pilots in the USA deteriorated due to the covid jabs. The deterioration was such that those pilots could no longer satisfy the heart health standards required by the FAA. To ground so many pilots would have shut down the aviation industry, however, so the FAA had no choice but to relax the medical standards required for the heart. Have heard this account from several, generally reliable sources, but have not yet seen strong confirmation.
If that happened in the USA, then it must have happened in Australia too. Is anybody aware of changes by CASA to our heart health standards?
