Are you trying to tell me that the alleged acceptable error for a rad alt is 80'-130'?

I doubt that the rules have changed that much since I was last flying a Blackhawk. (yes, it has been a while).

My question exactly. Where is the radar altimeter in this discussion. I also can’t believe that when flying a helo at night over water cross checking the radar altimeter with the baro altimeter is not just good practice but required!
