I'd wondered if this latest thing might have been based on some measure of merit (as determined by a 'real' person), but as it's very simply algorithmically determined and one could apparently trigger it just by posting complete cr*p over a few days I rather agree with
B Fraser's assessment. That is to say it reinforces my previous view about the whole badge regime.
BTW I think most of us here realise it's not your call, and there's little utility in moaning about these things, but sometimes it helps!
