I don't think they would have put you to one side for "Plan B" I really don't think it will come to having to base t-fly out of NEMA. After speaking to them at the interview they seem very certain that CVT will be the base and no other option had been thought of and is likely.
You really don't know what they look for but I have got my fingers crossed and hope its good news for you.
