I'm thinking of becoming an airline commercial pilot, but I'm still on the fence about whether to go for a modular or integrated programme.
For the integrated programme, there's one offered by IFA Potugal in Viseu that's about 66,000 euros and covers everything (an integrated ATPL(A) course).
With the modular programme, you can study at your own pace, and you might want to start by going to South Africa.
You can get a PPL and build 180 hours of flying hours, and then apply for the Diamond Flight Academy in Scandinavia, which sounds really attractive and has a good reputation. I've heard lots of good things about that school.
Can you please help me? I've been looking into this subject for the past few weeks. I've heard a bit of bad experiences with IFA, but I'm not sure. Can you please share any ideas?
What is the advantge to do the PPL in South Africa?
