I think you will find that what you heard was that Ryanair has taken a stake in Singapore Airlines new low cost start up “Tiger (Balm) Airways”
which is to start later this year. They will also have a prominent position in the management of the new airline. As for the new airline operating in the Australian market? That won’t be happening. They may operate flights to Darwin but that’s about it.
