Aircraft Operations
Thank you for taking the time to explain the issues with crosswinds at LHR. It still appears pretty calm here looking out but as in T5 lounge and A/C landing are approaching from the East and you can not see how good or bad it is for the flight crews. I came in earlier from Frankfurt with LH and had a short delay. Mrs Mac was boarded and spent over and hour sat onboard indeed before they pushed and ended up in LHR at nearly the same time as her cancelled flight.

As an observation for BA I think it would be better if they sent the email saying why there maybe operational issues before the one they send cancelling or altering the flight. It sort of puts things in context so speak, and probably would prepare people for any disruption.

Thanks once again for the information on the cross wind issues at LHR.

Cheers
